Prospective undergraduate students and their families are invited to tour our department, theatres, film classrooms, shops, and learn about our degree programs on various days throughout the semester. Theatre and Film Ambassadors along with our Academic Advisor will lead the tour and discussion, which begins in the Fine Arts Building lobby and lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Please fill out this interest form if you would like to visit the department or, if unable to visit, would like to arrange for a phone or zoom call with an advisor or ambassador.

Tours will usually begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Fine Arts Building lobby (park at the North Campus or Tate Center parking deck). Dates and times subject to change.  You may also want to plan to see a UGA Theatre production or catch a film at Cine, our local art house cinema, on or near the date of the tour. In April 2026, we hosted a larger Behind the Scenes Day that included workshops in theatre and film, breakout discussions, classroom visits, and Q&A with faculty and students in addition to the tour and info session. We may do this again in April 2027.

For attendees under the age of 18, we ask that you be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or chaperone. Thank you!
