What you will learn

Our students, driven by a love for stage and screen, gain hands-on experience making plays, film, and animation projects – while studying these art forms in-depth – in front of an audience or camera, behind the scenes, in the director’s chair, on the design team, and in the critic’s corner. Many students seek more advanced training and study in their main areas of interest, while others may aim for a bigger picture or wide variety of experience that could include a second major, a minor, or a certificate program. Their creative collaborations and academic achievements lay the foundation for building crucial professional relationships and developing essential problem-solving skills for success in their careers.

Students may Pursue the general bachelor's degree in theatre, or may add one or more areas of Emphasis:
Acting
Design
Directing and Stage management
Dramatic Writing
Dramatic Media/Animation
Theatre History and Theory
