Required Courses: THEA 2500 (Theatre as Discipline and Profession, area 6) THEA 2040, 2050, 2060 (Applied Drama – shop or crew for UGA Theatre shows, area 6) THEA 3290 (Script Analysis, area 6) THEA 3300 Foundations of Entertainment Design THEA 3500 Foundations of Acting THEA 3340: Stagecraft THEA 5110 or THEA 5600: Stage Management or Play Direction THEA 4210 Theatre and Modernity, 4220 Theatre and Society, or 4230 Theatre and Ritual plus one additional theatre history or topic course + 5 major electives in THEA or FILM OR choose an Area of Emphasis in: Acting Design Directing and Stage Management Dramatic Media Dramatic Writing Theatre Theory and History (note: some students choose more than one emphasis)
