Academic Professional | Stage Manager Chelsea is currently the Stage Manager for the upcoming UGA Theatre production Sense & Sensibility. They have been promoted to the Stage Management Coordinator for KCACTF Region 4. Chelsea has worked with Theatre Under The Stars, Houston Ballet, Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre, Texas Shakespeare Festival, Sarasota Opera, Central City Opera, Cincinnati Ballet, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Chelsea has worked as the Stage Manager with UGA Theatre on Evil Dead: The Musical, Murder on the Orient Express, Nine to Five, Little Shop of Horrors and Mother Courage and Her Children. Chelsea also coordinates with the UGA Theatre's productions of Experience UGA and the New Georgia award winning productions. Chelsea worked for three years as a technical theatre director at Cedar Ridge High School within the Visual & Performing Arts Academy. While there, Chelsea worked on almost 30 productions ranging from musicals, plays, and a variety of events. Chelsea received their MFA in Stage Management at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). While working on their Bachelor of Arts at Texas Woman's University, Chelsea was a member of the honorary theatre fraternity, Alpha Psi Omega, and served as chapter president. Chelsea is currently a member of USITT, the Stage Managers' Association, and KCACTF Region 4.
