Thanks to everyone who auditioned!  

It was great to see over 100 folks interested in being part of this production!!  If you are not listed for callbacks, that does NOT mean you aren’t still being considered for a role. Check back for the final cast list when it is posted on the department website.

If you are called back, you will need to be able to attend all callbacks on Friday and Saturday.  At those callbacks you will need to be prepared to sing duets, trios, solos, and group numbers, take part in a dance call, and read scenes. Please note, there may be cuts and changes to what roles you are being considered for based on your work in callbacks.

Singing Callbacks will be on Friday from 6-10 pm in Room 115.

Dance Callbacks will be Saturday from 12-1.30 pm in the Fine Arts Theatre.  Please wear appropriate clothing for dance. Dance shoes if you have them, no gym shoes.

Acting Callbacks will be Saturday from 2-6

The songs and sides for Callbacks are on the department website. You need to have a paper copy of any materials at callbacks. DO NOT read your sides or songs from a phone or ipad.  Bring them on paper.

Everyone called back for both GnD and Big Julie’s Speakeasy needs to be ready to go at 6pm on Friday.

When you arrive to each day of callbacks, please check in at the table. Audition assistants will be able to answer any questions and/or provide materials for the callbacks.

Callback Schedule

Music Callbacks

Friday, August 28th, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm in Room 115. This will be music callbacks with Rachel Townes. Sheet music will be printed out and available for you to pick up outside the callback room. 

Dance & Sides Callbacks

Saturday, August 29th

12:00 to 1:30-Dance callbacks on the Fine Arts Stage in the Fine Arts Building. This is on the second floor of the FAB. 

2:00 to 5:30/6:00 pm-Scenes & sides in Room 115. Sides will be printed out and available for you to pick up outside the callback room. 

A reminder that the building is closed on Saturday's. You are able to enter the building on the 1st floor at the door by Room 115 or the door by the dumpster/Costume Shop. Folks will be around to help you get in.

You are welcome to print out the sheet music for yourself. We will have copies at the table. 

Dance Callbacks

Please wear clothing you can move in. You need to wear closed toed shoes in order to participate in dance callbacks. Dance shoes are preferred, no gym shoes. Make sure to bring a water bottle to remain hydrated. You will take part in a warmup, learn the combination(s), and then move into several group arrangements. As your peers are completing their callback, please remain attentive, quiet and positive. Thank you!

Scenes/Sides Callbacks

We will have a short break in between dance and sides. You are welcome to change into another outfit in one of the restrooms in the building.

You are welcome to print out the sides for yourself. We will have copies at the table. 

The cast list for both Guys & Dolls and Big Julie's Speakeasy will be posted the week of August 31st. We ask for your patience the first few days of the week as the creative team works together to discuss casting.
