UGA Theatre: "Torch Song" Talkbacks

TS-TALKBACKS
Cellar Theatre

The Torch Song talkbacks will involve the director, the cast, and representatives of the UGA Pride Center in discussion with the audience over issues presented in the play. The talkbacks will occur immediately following both matinee performances on Oct. 2 and Oct. 9.

Since National Coming Out Day is just around the corner, questions to be explored include: How has the coming out process changed since the 1970's-80's when this play was first presented? How has it remained the same? What themes and ideas of the play still resonate for young queer people today?

Any and all are welcome to join in the talkbacks. Even if you've seen the show on another night, you are welcome to come back and participate.  We'd love to hear what was meaningful for you about the performance!
