Image: The UGA Department of Theatre and Film will be welcoming prolific voice actor and comedian Chris Edgerly (ABJ 1991) to the Fine Arts Building on November 6, 2025 for a series of Q&A sessions with department students and will attend a rehearsal of Evil Dead: The Musical. He minored in Drama when he was a journalism student at UGA, but remains fondly connected to the Fine Arts Building as a Drama Dawg. Chris spent ten years as a professional comedian and on camera actor before transitioning to voice acting, where he has spent the last twenty-five years voicing characters in hundreds of episodes of animation, video games, commercials, movies and theme park rides. His credits include sixteen seasons and running on The Simpsons, Dreamworks: Dragons, Apex Legends, Halo 2 and 3, Naruto:Shippuden, F is for Family, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Record of Ragnarok, movies such as The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Passengers, The Conjuring franchise, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, ad campaigns for dozens of major brands, and voices for theme park rides such as Spiderman and J. Jonah Jameson for Universal's Amazing Adventures of Spiderman, Scuttle in Ariel's Undersea Adventure at Disneyworld and Disneyland, Star Tours, Dumbo's Wild Ride and more.
